This time of year Da has kids on the ground and Kaden finds a personal goal to catch and pickup as may as possible in one days time. He is ALWAYS ready to go feed the goats. They come in the house nasty, but they love being out there. We used to have a problem with Kaden wanting to chase them. Now he is learning to be sneaky and run up and catch them. It is fun to watch him out there with the goats.
Leland usually keeps his distance until the goats are fed. Then he knows it is safe to go out and not get attacked by one of the nanny's. Most of Da's goats are friendly so they like to come up pretty close to the boys and they stand tall compared to Leland.
The boys love to help Da feed hay. They like seeing the cows up on the tractor. When we go out on the gator, some of the younger heifers like to get real close and be hand feed (because they are spoiled rotten). So Kaden knows he is safe when he is on the tractor with Da.
The best pear in the world is one that you can pick from a tree and don't have to pay for! We enjoyed a pear every day while at mom's and the cows even got the ones that dropped and had bad spots on them.
Jennifer met us in Commerce at the Children's Museum. We had a blast and for all but about 20 minutes had the whole house to ourselves. The kids were running all over the place. They had a blast.

One afternoon we got to go and pick up Hunter and Eli from school. They came home with us and we played. Kaden thought he was on a special high.
Just recently we were able to eat supper with our friends. Kaden and Leland got to play with their cousins....it's a win win!

This is Kaden's first try at Pop Rocks. It was fun to watch the process. He was a little uneasy about them at first. But the second time we pulled them out to introduce them to the Beck Boys, he was all about showing them how to crunch them.
