The Kooing Kaden

Kaden loves to talk with his dad and tell him all of the things that he learned from Braxton and Brazos. This last week Karl was on a business trip for three days and Kaden and dad had a lot of catching up to do. Karl was nice to share his time with Mama Z since she was here for the week.
Karl catpured some sweet moments for us. This is one of my favorites. Look at those big, blue eyes and that redish brown hair!
Mama Z got to spend some time lovin on all of the boys. If the youngest ones were ever upset and/or needed to be fed via bottle, Mama Z was there in a flash. She was a pro and put up with all of us all week long. We will miss all of her help and hugs!
You wouldn't know it by the picture, but Kaden likes his tummy time and we are using it more and more!
The boys are both growing so fast. Brayson is changing every day and Kaden is eating more and more. He has stared cooing at most things. He loves to smile and is starting to swing and hit the bunnies and birds that hang over his head.
Both boys sleep all night (11 pm to 7 am). Neil and I don't fuss a single bit, but instead are extremely thankful!

Busy, Busier, Busiest adn the Observer

Kaden, Braxton, Brazos and Brayson...Can you see which one is not the brother?
Braxton checking out Brayson's tiny hands.

Then, there is the hefty cousin. Brayson was so light...what happened Braxton? Brazos did not want to hold Brayson and the feeling was mutual.

Cousins...Cousins
My big 6 week old boy. He is the most precious thing to us. At this moment, his dad is in his room making him smile. I can't tell you the joy of my heart. Karl and Kaden more than fill the earthly room I have left in my heart. My life is more than complete and we have only just begun! We are more than happy to have a complete Beck family. Thank you Andy and Lyneil for providing our favorite three nephews and for allowing us to be a part of your lives!

Our visit with Brayson Beck

Kaden was so excited to get to meet his new cousin!
So, we called the new mom and asked if she was ready for ALL of us!
We put down our books, loaded the car with three boys and off we went to the hospital to see the fourth, newest arrival.
Braxton and Brazos were calm but interested. They studied him for about two minutes and then were ready for something different. Mom and Dad had a surprise for each of them.
Brazos was happy with his new baby. A baby of his own!
Finally, the star of the show. Brayson Zade Beck.

The two newest additions to the Zant family. Kaden Wayne and Brayson Zade. 6 weeks and 2 days apart.Braxton enjoying some needed time with dad on the couch at the hospital!
Karl is smiling because he is thankful we don't have twins...

Brayson Zade Beck.
He is here and all are doing well. The older brothers, along with Kaden and I will go and visit them as soon as the boys wake from their nap. We'll post more pics soon. For now, visit Lyneil's blog!

We are back!

Kaden Wayne just chillin!
After being in Texas for the holiday's (and then some), we are finally home with the daddy and getting things back to order. Kaden is 6 weeks old and growing like a weed. We weighed him on our home scales last week and three times came up with 14.5 lbs. He is now in 3 -6 month clothes and we are getting ready to move up in diapers!
Mom and Kaden at the hospital waiting on dad to come up to his room.
It is good to be home. Karl was just as ready to see us as we were to see him. He met us at the airport in Omaha, Nebraska. I had Kaden covered up in the stroller (except for his head) and Karl's comment was 'his head is huge'. We stayed Friday night in Omaha to have a night for ourselves and then headed to Iowa. We had a full day with church and LTC practice yesterday and a dr. check up this morning for me and now we are ready to chill.
Kaden and his dad taking a minute at the hotel in Omaha.

Kaden is eating well. Lyneil's first remark was, 'you need to stop eating so much'. He likes to eat, that is for sure.
Kaden has been sharing his toothless smiles with us. He loves to smile at his daddy.

We are glad to be back...

Happy New Year and Happy 4 weeks to Kaden

We have been in Texas and it is lovely being in warmer weather. When we crossed over the Texas border, Karl and I told Kaden all of the Texas words we could think of. It has been such a great Christmas. We came home and spent the weekend with mom and dad and then on Christmas Eve, we headed to Karl's mom's house to spend a week there. I will be back there and will not have access to internet, so thanks for your patience and please know that I will have more to post but there will be a break from Jan. 5th - 12th.

Ashley and Eli having their turn holding Kaden. Eli loves 'baby'.

It has been such a fun time showing Kaden to everyone. Mom and Cindy have been so great. Mom has eaten her time up with him and Karl and I have been able to spend some time with just the two of us. It has been great. Karl was able to go to San Antonio this last weekend and watch the Aggies play and now he is headed back up north. I will fly back home in a couple of weeks!

The McD Three

This week I am at mom and dads and loving the time. I have been able to spend time with most of our cousins and last Saturday I was able to go and see Craig (uncle that is in Bonham). He looked good and cut up a little bit with me. I am blessed to be part of such a wonderful family.
