Potty training and snow....

I just don't know why we can't perfect this potty training thing!!!

Kaden was able to go outside with me and 'help' me shovel the driveway and entry. He was such a help!

I did make sure he only ate the white snow!

Snow bank at the church building parking lot! We are ready for some sunshine and pretty weather!

On to the END...Corsicana

Ava was nice enough to share her toys, mommy and daddy with us for a few days and we all enjoyed watching Kaden and Ava play together.

Best attempt from my end of the two together...
Kaden found R0dy and they fell in love! He and Ava took turns on R0dy...
But at the end of the day, R0dy got the best of Kaden and his daddy.
Thanks to everyone for making our 2009 Christmas special. Thanks to Santa and the goodness that he brought (more than enough..almost too much to fit in our car on the way home). We love our family and we are grateful we get to come 'home' and share such special times with each and every place/family!

Moving on at Christmas...Royse City Stop

We stopped by and spend a short amount of time with Daddy Mac. Kaden is still not so sure about his mustache. He loves Daddy Mac, but is always fascinated with his whiskers.

Chilling in Daddy Mac's favorite place.

Again...carpet floors = horse time. This is Kaden's version of being a horse. He loves to act like he is going fast. His legs move ten times each one stride of Karl's. It is fun to watch.
Daddy Mac got Kaden a Hot Wh@@ls track....The three of these boys sat and played this for at least three hours (that does include assembly). I don't know who had more fun!

Murrs and Marty also gave Kaden this truck. It is super cool and Kaden drove it around...until the hot wh@@ls came out...

LA here we come....just let us out safely...

So, Christmas at Da and Z's house was rushed because Lyneil was able to get all of us tickets to the Aggie game over in LA. We had a blast despite the outcome of the game. It was SO great to be at a game again. Loved it!
We waited an hour and 20 minutes to board a bus to take us to the stadium. Missed the first few minutes of the game, but still worth it!

I love this man. It had been six years since we were able to go to an Aggie game together and I LOVED IT!

Beck's and Schmidt's

Daniel, Fry's and Zach

The Aggie Band and the Block T....WHOOP! Half time was the high light of the day...to say the least. Our band kicked some tail!

We all stayed until the clock ran out. I think we out lasted our team...but we did it! We got out of downtown safely (thanks to many prayers and a couple of light skinned police men).

No ability to place calls or txt (in a 3G network with full reception). Called and cab and ended up with Micah and Daniel in the car with a random stranger...all because we were impatient. Thank you God for small miracles!

Zach patiently waiting...wondering if the ride (and cousin input of college...when, how and why) was worth the trip!

Paris next...

Forgive me that I am posting backwards...(time wise)
Papa and the grand kids, spouses and great grands...we are missing only a few that chose not to come. Hopefully we will have everyone present and accounted for next year.

Papa and our crazy clan. Love Phillip in the back left corner and Nathan in the far right. Pam and Michael were wonderful hosts and we had a good time exchanging gifts! Papa was a trooper...for sure!

Monday morning we were able to run through Christmas at Da and Z's house. Some of us had made other plans as well and we literally ran through gifts....such the spirit! Karl and I had less than 24 hours at Mom and Dad's but we enjoyed every minute of it. It was hard to leave this time. It felt so wrong running in and out. Kaden enjoyed his time with his cousins and has asked to go to their house daily.

Sweet Brazos with his daddy.

Miles and miles in December...Frankston stop

We had such a good time in Texas over December. We were able to spend some much needed time Frankston. This was Kaden's favorite place to sit and play. Usually he was able to make it back behind the table without trouble....

Kaden and I were able to get out and enjoy the sunshine (without snow). We were able to talk Karl into joining us for a walk one day. We love our time together.

Chad sporting new tops!

Grandma Cindy, Sherry, Karl and Kaden...He's not spoiled at all....

Oh the fun of being together! We just let loose sometimes!

The McD three....about to be FOUR!

Sibling love!

Wrap them up....either one...I'll take them both!

Karl (with all of his craftiness) was able to turn and salt and pepper grinder for Da and Z. They are beautiful. My man is talented in woodworking beyond belief. I am very fortunate.

Chad kept Kaden entertained and kept him on his feet...most of the time!

Grandma Cindy reading to Kaden. Go, Dog! Go! was the preferred book of choice.

Chad sharing Sherry with Kaden. He seemed to step in and take over. Sherry didn't have much time to herself. Kaden was all about Sherry.

Carpet=Horse

Sherry reading A,B,C book....she should have memorized this one by the end of the four days. Kaden's #2 choice of reading...it was nice to have a break with others so willing and able to read to Kaden. Thanks for all of the goodies and sharing the love!
