Roses, wedding, going, traveling and playing...

Prayer request: Granny Zant is back in the hospital. She is super weak and we would appreciate all of your prayers. Thanks!

Lyneil and Karl made roses for Stormi’s (Zant cousin of ours) wedding cake. Andy and I were making fun of the fact that he was willing to help but Lyneil was very thankful. I am grateful I am married to such a talented man. Anyway, plenty of roses were made and the cake that took over 15 hours from start to finish looked fantastic…great job Neil!!
Amy singing songs with Braxton while feeding Brayson.
Neil and I took our four boys and headed south on Tuesday. We were glad that we were able to leave so early and be able to help out with the wedding plans. It seemed like we just kept on going. There wasn’t any time to stop and catch our breath. We missed having our husbands there but we are glad we got to go.

Micah and Eli against Phillip and Kaden...I think it was a little out weighted.

Lyneil ended up being the photographer at the wedding, Amy, Ashley, Micah, David, Zach, Michael and I ended up singing and Pam was the coordinator.

Mom and Jennifer got to handle the boys during rehearsal and the wedding. We are indeed grateful to them. Stormi was radiant. She was one of the most beautiful brides that I have seen. She was just calm, collected, late, and radiant. She performs all services at her own pace…but she got it done and they are now Mr. and Mrs. Vincent O’Bryant. Friday, they wore these shirts. I thought it was too cute.

While Neil worked on the cake...

I worked on the mints, cherry-o-cream cakes and keeping the boys out of trouble; Braxton and Brazos enjoyed being outside. They played in the dirt and moved as m in a two day period. Papa took Braxton on the four wheeler but Brazos decided he would wait for me to join in. They had so much fun outside playing at Papa and Granny’s. The smaller of the two boys got to stay inside and Papa and Granny played pass the baby with them. They were either being held, eating or napping. As if they weren’t spoiled enough! We were able to go and have lunch with Mama Z and Pam one day during school and Braxton wanted to stay and play on the play ground. We are looking forward to going back home, maybe next time we’ll get to spend some time with Da and Mama Z and not have as many things to accomplish while we are there.
Brazos cheesing.

Braxton was in his own little part of the world.

Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that we didn't get these boys in bed before 11 pm the whole time we were there. Next trip will be better...

We will survive...

but blogger might not...
LTC went without a hitch! I was unorganized but the kids did a great job in every event. They rocked and received many gold awards to show their hard work! Great job to all of the kids that went and participated!
The Beck, McDonald and Clapp family went down to Kansas City on Thursday evening. Friday morning we got up and were able to go swimming. This was a first for Kaden and he enjoyed it. He also enjoyed being warmed up and held by Mama Z. Thanks for saving my kid....all weekend!

Mama Z, Neil and Brayson at the opening ceremonies of the HOALTC (Heart of America Leadership Training for Christ)! We had a great time and had some awesome singing!

Karl and I were able to go to the airport and pick up Da and Mama Z. Kaden and I went in to get them and I was unable to locate them right off the bat. I kept looking for a big white hat....I never found the hat, but I found exactly the people that fit perfectly. Mama Z and Da were waiting for their bags (which were delivered to the hotel later that night at 11:30pm) in their wind suites! The Beck boys were OH, so excited to see them!

Friday night, this is how I found Karl while he was 'watching' Kaden. I think that Kaden was just fine...

Da rescued us all weekend. Mama Z made sure that all of the kids were clean and clothed as well as fed and Da gave them an excuse to leave the hotel room. Thanks a million!

Da and Kaden chillin'.

We captured one of the many times these guys escaped the hotel room. When the room would get busy, dad would suggest a trip outside. It was ALWAYS a hit with these three...sometimes four.

We got home at 11:30 pm Saturday night! Just in time to change our clothes, jump in bed and get up and go again. The Easter Bunny came and stopped by early Sunday morning and the Beck boys were excited. Braxton and Brazos are giving sweet kisses to the other boys!

Kaden and all of his loot from the Easter Bunny....Thanks EB (all of you)!

LTC Craziness

This week we are headed to LTC. Lyneil and I have shopped and gathered food, called others to bring food and we think we are finally to the point to feed the hungry. We have 40 mouths to feed on Friday and Saturday. Lyneil and I are going to be at the church building this afternoon from 1pm until church to practice all day with the kids....pray for us.
Karl and Kaden chilling at daddy's work. Every Friday we try and have lunch with dad at work. It is a fun time to go and enjoy!
Kaden and Brayson...David and Goliath

Kaden standing on Andy's work desk.

Brazos was helping fold clean clothes...he found his daddy's pile...at least their clean!

Braxton was giving us a puppet show.

Brazos is all smiles as we were playing hide and seek around the puppet stage at the church building.

Braxton found the fish bag that we are using for our drama for LTC and thought he needed the flippers and goggles.

Andy and Brayson sitting having some quiet time....that is valuable time around here.

Kaden belly laugh

Sunday our group ate at church for lunch and one of the kids in our youth (that is crazy about little ones) had Kaden's number. He was just laughing. I came in on the tail end and caught some of the sounds.
Hope everyone's weekend was as good as it could have been.

He's 3 Months Today!

I can't believe that three months ago today we were able to meet the happiest, most precious little boy in the world. I can't imagine what we spent our time on before he arrived. Lyneil, Brazos and Brayson took Kaden and I across town to have his 3 month pictures made. I still spent more money than I wanted to and have tons more pictures than I need (even with Lyneil's heavy hinting). There were just too many precious pictures to chose from.
Here are the top ten...enjoy!

Videos for Karl

Kaden has a high pitch sound. Here lately, he has been experimenting with deeper sounds. This one is Karl's favorite 'voice'. Karl, since you're not here at the moment to hear him...I caught the sound just for you!

Just an update...

Kaden and I joined Karl at Ohana's for his birthday. Here is the proud birthday daddy and his favorite sidekick!
Friday I was able to keep the Clapp kids for a couple of hours. Kaden and Peyson are enjoying the mobile upstairs. Something about that mobile holds Kaden's attention. He loves it! Peyson is one month younger than Kaden and is already giving him a run for his money.
