Zoo time and fishing...
Braxton liked throwing the line in and reeling it back in as fast as he could.
Braxton actually caught a fish. He wanted Karl to throw it back in so he could throw his line back in the water. He didn't want the fish, just to tempt them.
This is what Brazos wanted to to rather than fish. Glad we had a backup plan...Way to go Neil!
Andy, Karl and Braxton fishing it up.
Kaden has a new way of using his pacifier. I don't know what the purpose of having it in his mouth. He doesn't do this all of the time but when he does it is fun to watch.
At the entrance of the zoo they had some guys out there spinning plates. Karl was able to get some going for both Brazos and Braxton.

Isn't Brayson such an adorable boy. He has been the smiliest little thing lately.Friday, June 13, 2008
My family is being held together by braces and shots...
Lyneil is better. Her knee surgery went well and she is as tough as nails. She is close to being 'HEALED'!
Johnny (my father-in-law) is having shots in his back today for his leg pain. He has a nerve that is being pinched.
Sherry (Karl's sister) is having ACL surgery on Tuesday. She has been in a brace since May 15th. She is ready to have the surgery and get it over with.
Chad (Sherry's husband) fell and broke his foot in two places last Thursday. He has to have his foot above his heart until the swelling goes down so they can put a cast on it.
Karl (my husband...he he) is going to have a nerve block done on Monday. He has a lumbar traction unit that has been ordered and he'll start that treatment as soon as we are able to get instructions on the equipment.
Isaiah (my cousin's little ~2 month old) is still having trouble feeding after surgery.
We'll end on a good note...my Granny Zant is doing better. She is planning a trip out to west Texas later this month to see her sister. She is really looking forward to that trip!
We could use your prayers. We are not having to fight the water (personally) yet. I think we'll be clear but there are many others in the flood zone that need your prayers as well.
Thanks PRAYER WARRIORS. I know through HIM we CAN!

Kaden's 6 months old!
I took Kaden to have his 6 month pictures taken and I will just say that it is much easier with two adults than with one. I always spend WAY TOO MUCH money. If Lyneil hadn't been there the first time I probably would have spent twice the amount I did and this time I still walked away with more pictures than any two huge families could need. I promise myself next time I will be better! These are some of my favorites. Hope you enjoy...
The one above is Karl's favorite. This is Kaden's study face. He is just so funny and has such a great smile most of the time that this face was priceless to catch.
Kaden and his dad have been having patting wars. Karl will pat and Kaden will follow suite. It was so fun doing is his pictures. He would pat, pat, pat with such a huge grin and then shut down and get serious! It was a riot!
Love these black backgrounds!
He is moving and inching his way out of whom ever's lap he is in. He moves (rolls) all over the floor. The other day, I left him in the middle of his bedroom floor with toys on all sides of him and came back to find him under the big bed in the room and the next day he ended up under his own baby bed. I can't tell you the feeling of not seeing him in the same place you left him. That first initial shock the first time I didn't see him was a long two seconds. I wasn't scared as much as just shocked...there was no Kaden.
It is so much fun watching him. He is arching his back real well and trying so hard to do a backward army crawl. He really hasn't tried to crawl too much. Although, he is getting better about sitting up on his own. He still leans forward a lot, but he is getting there. He is extremely ticklish (everywhere) and loves to be startled!Kaden and dad at his 6 month check up. His stats were:
19 pounds 10 ounces
27.5 inches long

The Circus, the circus
Kaden (6 mo.), Payson (5 mo) and Brayson (4.5 mo) - They are all trying to hold hands...Isn't that sweet. I think that Brayson is trying to eat Payson!
The youngest of the boys. These are three tough little boys. They put up with a lot of noise, love, hugs, and business from the rest of the clan.
Braxton has a wagon full of Beck/Clapp kids. I have not made it to the camera today, but it does sound like I hear the footsteps of awaking children upstairs. We have 8 again today! We all survive...mostly. Although the tomatoes plants Karl put together Sunday didn’t seem to make it! They need a better protection plan! Brazos was so funny. He was quick to come and tell me that ‘Karl gonna get him’. Him is Logan. Oh, well! Some days are just good and some better than others!
Speaking of circus. Amy, Jorge, mom and dad all come up this last weekend. Being right on top of things as usually, I only took one video, NO pictures. I am FIRED! So, here are Amy and Jorge boxing it out. Amy and I KO’d Jorge once each and then he retaliated!
Thanks for the fun weekend y’all! We love ya!

Vacation in Arkansas....
Kaden enjoyed every minute of his daddy time...as well as I did!
We left Kaden with Grandma Hazel and the dogs with Grandma Cindy and hiked Devil's Den. We didn't find any bears, but we did hike the whole trail backwards! Who said that Aggies couldn't read maps?

Way to go Sherry!
Again, Karl and I handed over Kaden to the 'Grandma's' and the four of us headed into town. We played putt putt, motor boats and raced. The funny thing is, we didn't see any of the first two sessions of motor boats come out near as wet as we did. We weren't expecting it, but I wouldn't change a thing. We were soaked and we had a blast doing it!Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Johnny oversaw the whole ordeal. Sherry did all of the connections but the trip was funded by the Bradberry clan! Kaden was super spoiled by all parties. Cindy’s mom came down from Illinois and spent the week with us as well. This was a first time meeting for Kaden and his great Grandma Hazel. We all ate it up. Both Cindy and Hazel fed and held Kaden anytime that he was awake. When we could, Aunt Sherry and I got our hands on him as well.
We hiked, picnicked, played putt putt, motor boats and road race cars! It was great! We thoroughly loved being with our family and we are looking forward to next years trip already.

Uncle Chad and Aunt Sherry
Kaden has some new squeaking sounds. We thought they were pretty cute. He also found his tongue. He like to just smile and then out comes the tongue!
