The night before Addelynn's arrival and all through the house
The boys were busy as they played cat and mouse
We packed our bags for the hospital stay
For soon we would bring home one more baby to play
There was a division of thought
Would it be a boy or a girl
For tomorrow would tell
Lyneil took the picture, she was on team pink swirl
The date was set for a c-section of July 31st
Karl and I headed to the hospital early about to burst
Our friends Jana and Steven came up to say a prayer
We are truly blessed with a good church that cares
Karl got his wish
A baby girl indeed
8 pounds 6 ounces
21.5 inches, growing like a weed
The happy daddy
A surprised mommy (Who just knew it was a boy)
The perfect caboose for our family of five
Our house now has dolls and pink toys
Z getting her hands on her seventh grandchild
Oliver was just in her arms one week before
Oliver was born on July 16, 2013
Adelynn was born on July 31, 2013
Katie knew it was a girl and she kept a good secret. She brought Adelynn two sweet outfits to the hospital. Jana also knew and she brought Adelynn some sweet sleepers and onsie outfits. Oh, what wonderful friends we have. We are indeed thankful for such a wonderful church.
The proud brothers.
Kaden was hooked at first site.
Leland told people at church that evening that he did not have a baby sister. He had a baby brother. He was in denial for about five weeks. No kisses for Adelynn.
Everyone else, on the other had, couldn't keep their hands off of this sweet baby girl. (I think I am still in denial).
Daddy Mac drove up for the day to see Adelynn. The night before he arrived we found out she had jondis. She spent all day in her tanning bed. Daddy Mac got to hold her and see her for about 20 minutes.
The Beck Family with our three!
Adelynn's fist bath at home. Mom gave all three of my kids their first bath. I hope I am as good as a mother as she is to me.
Z saved us, waited on us, read, cooked, cleaned, mopped, swept out the car port….she worked hard the whole time she was here. I was super sad to see her go.
Mom stayed for a week and a half. She left on Thursday and on Saturday Cindy and Johnny came over. They loved on Adelynn but Cindy brought fun games/activities for the boys to do. She got in the floor and played with the boys. They appreciated that. Johnny and Karl worked on Karl's truck some and we enjoyed the day.
The ladies at Jackson Street gifted us with pink. It seemed like it took hours to open all of the wonderful things we were given. We won't need clothes for years.
Leland being silly with my pump accessories. Love my family!
